This is a great book! Easy to read, practical advise, and a little humor thrown in. Perfect for the beginner or individual who already has a studio and wants to sharpen their skills.

for $4.99 shipped to my door and a hard bound copy to boot is a great deal and has a lot of good info for the home recording enthusiast.

great book for a beginner. A lot of ‘overview,’ you may want to purchase this before you start buying equipment, etc. But if you have any experience w/ recording, you probably already know most of this stuff.

I got this book from my local library yesterday. Finished this morning. This is a GOOD thing from a person with my attention span! As a primer on recording, having now purchased 3 of the more popular books, I will say that this book is a necessity to a beginner. Concise and condensed. Written with heart and personality. This man loves music. It IS, however, only a primer and general base guide. What I need at this moment. Thanks, Hank!
