I haven’t used it a lot, but it sure picks up a lot of background noise. Maybe that’s because I was trying to use it outside, perhaps it would work better indoors.

Sony Tape Player
I bought the cheap Sony 150 and I got what I paid for.
I didn’t need the recording I just want something to play my tapes.
Well it burn out about six month into my use.

Pros:
many great details, really thinks about the customer, good quality (lasts a long time)
Con(s):
Sony should include tape recorders and blank tapes(together) for a bargain price as apposed to selling each separately making it convenient for the customer(very important)and cost efficient. I noticed other amazon products were put into this form which made ME personally buy them so why not this product and why not other consumers?

I admit to being prejudiced. I have many Sony products and if I can afford it I’ll buy canned pinto beans if Sony made them. So much of what we are offered is junk and I like getting quality and hate paying for it. So I like Sony products, many of which I cannot afford. This product is an exception.
What is good about it? It does what it is made to do. It is cheap. The supplier is so fast you wont believe it. I ordered this recorder late Sunday evening and got it the following Tuesday. It shipped at no charge to me. So what is not to like?
This is a good buy. If you need something like this, try it, you’ll like it.
